Coca-Cola Establishes Global Community Connections |

According to a report in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Coca-Cola Company is creating a new division named Global Community Connections (GCC) to replace a two-decade-old corporate external affairs department. The new division, headed by Ingrid Saunders Jones, former head of corporate external affaris, will focus on three areas of philanthropy work: water cleanliness and supply, recycling with an emphasis on sustainable packaging and fitness. Jones will continue to report to CEO Neville Isdell and manage the donations and non-profit work of Coca-Cola's six worldwide operating regions with a staff of 24. Source: MSNBC
